Samsung Galaxy S10 Concept

We are in the moment of leaks and leaks are not meant to be taken too serious. However, they are just giving us hints of what will or will not take part in any upcoming technology. Not one, not two, not three. It seems that Samsung is aimed at the fashion of taking numerous variants of the same phone and will launch no less than three versions of the Galaxy S10.

Looking at what this week have in store for us regarding to the leaks of Galaxy S10, it seems that Samsung mostly focused on the form of the device when it was introduced. And thus, this is also the first time that the Galaxy S10’s three specifications are mentioned in such detail.

As some rumors claims, the Samsung Galaxy S10 will also be called the Samsung Galaxy S10 Max or Galaxy S10 Plus. Rumors are that the device will have a 6.2-inch screen, the same number of pixels as the Galaxy S9 Plus, with Super AMOLED technology . The device will have 6 GB to 8 GB of RAM and at least 128 GB of ROM.

However, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus or Galaxy S10 Max are said to come with a price tag of around $1100 USD. Whereas, the standard version of the Galaxy S10 will be priced at $1000 and while the third variant can be sold for $750.

The standard Galaxy S10 is expected to feature a 5.8-inch screen with curved edges (such as Plus / Max) and an internal 5G modem. The Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus / Max will probably have two or three cameras on the back and dual cameras on the front.

The front-facing cameras on the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus / Max will probably have some 3D scanning technology not seen on any Android device before. Samsung may also be the first company to perfect this technology on Android devices and launch commercialization. With this technology, Samsung may be able to overcome the technology that users are inheriting on the iPhone XS.

The Samsung Galaxy S10R (R for the retro style) is the other version with a perfectly flat 5.8 inch screen. Meanwhile, the rest of the S10 will have curved screen on the edge like the Galaxy S and Note in recent years.

The Galaxy S10R also has a significantly thicker bezel compared to the other two versions and does not have a fingerprint sensor below the screen. This version will support 4G LTE and will not equip as many cameras as its expensive brothers. With such a big change, the Galaxy S10R will still have a strong performance but a reasonable price for the majority of users.

Samsung Galaxy S10 is expected to launch before Mobile World Congress, 2019. If Samsung retains its tradition, the launch event of the Galaxy S10 may take place on February 24, 2019
